As the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi earlier remarked that the 2018 Republic Day of India will be remembered for ages, his words seems to be truly right. Since this would be the first time in the history, that the Heads of 10 Countries would be attending the Republic Day Parades in New Delhi as Chief Guests.
The 10 Leaders who would be India's Chief Guest in this year's Republic Day Program are the Heads of the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN). So, this means that the Heads of Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos & Brunei would be the Guests of Honor on India's 69th Republic Day.
PM Modi said that the year 2017 was truly special of both ASEAN and India, as the South-East Asian Bloc completed it's 50 years of formation and the year also marked 25 years of India's partnership with the grouping.
Yes, India is indeed looking forward to welcome her guests at the 2018 Republic Day on 26th of January.
